And this is my life….
I am a wife to my best friend who happens to be the most amazing man I know. I am the mother of five beautiful, wonderful, amazing girls who are the reason why my ears are tired. I stay at home (in theory). I manage the household (which means I do a lot of laundry). I help my husband run a remodeling business (he does all the real work – I just try to keep him encouraged). I teach our children at home (which I am convinced is the loneliest job in the world – but also an amazing privilege). I run to justify my addiction to Starbucks and chocolate. I take pictures to capture the moments. And when I need time alone, I write. I write because time moves too fast and the days are long, but the years are short. And while these days are long – sometimes impossibly so – I know that these are the best days of my life.

Wow Sara. I love it and hope that I can too write those words soon. I too write for many of the same reasons. Maybe not as eloquently, but I write none-the-less. Love the photos – they remind me so much of my boys. Children really are such a blessing. God is so good!
Me again….if you do get a button for your blog, will you let me know? I really and honestly was blessed by your blog and want to share the word, so I posted your blog on my Blogs 2 Read page. I am a newer blogger than you, but anything can help, right? 🙂 My email is eliam05@yahoo.com if you do get a button, let me know and I’ll update my page. Thanks!
Oh my goodness! You are so sweet and encouraging. The words you shared in your link to my page brought tears to my eyes! I’ve never even thought of getting a button….never thought I would have a use for one! I don’t have the first idea how to go about that, so if you have the know-how I’d love to, well, know how. 🙂
Thanks again for your encouragement. I’ll see what I can do about a button. Right after I finish helping with grammar lessons. 😉
You make me laugh….which at the end of a hard day is really something ! The photos are fabulous!!! I love dad falling down the well….I’m still chuckling. I have 6 kids…the first 4 are girls…my ears are tired too.
So much to smile about here. Your story is beautiful. Thanks for sharing. I will be back. Warm smiles.
